5 sessions; 3-hour sessions for 15 hours total. May require additional hours beyond class to complete assignments.

Course description:

This course is designed for participants who have limited or no experience with Promethean ActivInspire software and are interested in developing a basic understanding. Participants will begin to apply skills/tools learned in ActivInspire to flipchart pages and will reflect on skills/tools which enhance student engagement.

Course Objective:

Participants will develop a basic understanding of Promethean ActivInspire software to revise and create flipcharts that enhance the engagement of students in the classroom.

Evaluation:

After each session, participants will modify a given flipchart showing their understanding and use of the tools taught during that session. The instructions will be provided in the Notes browser and participants will submit their modifications through the course wiki.
