Actions to Tackle Bullying
Our first aim is to create a school environment in which bullying is simply not acceptable. We believe that prevention is better than cure and so we regularly explore issues around self confidence and bullying in our P.H.S.E. and SEAL activities (social & emotional aspects of learning) and circle time. When children feel they are important and belong to a friendly welcoming school, bullying is far less likely to be part of their behaviour.

We will:-
Listen carefully to pupils and provide them with opportunities to express views and opinions – both verbal and written. We will record the conversation in note form, if it is of a more serious nature.
Make sure all children involved are aware of their responsibilities and any actions that they need to take.
