SECOND ANNUAL REPORT 2005 – 2006
Area of Location and introduction
The office of the Action of Human Movement (AHM) is Located at KammalamPoondiVillage,Uthiramerur town panchayathof Kancheepuram district. It is About 99Km South east of the Tamilnadu state capital Chennai and 37 Km from the District Headquarters Kancheepuram.
The Action of Human Movement (AHM) Conducts Training Programme through various social awareness activities. Namely child awarenessand child rights campaign, Human right camp, carrier guidance programme, remedial non formal technical education, counseling and leadership programme, documentation centre opening, job placement cell were conducted and commenced in and around Uthiramerur block.
AHM has entered into second year of its establishment. This year was a remarkable year to AHM because it has entered into new kinds of programme with the experiences which was gained in the previous year.This experiences had gave a new views and news for this new projects.

MAIN ACTIVITIES OF ACTION OF HUMAN MOVEMENT (AHM)
- WORKING AMONG CHILDRENS
CHILD AWARNESS CAMP
This camp was conducted in uthiramerur at kalaimagalSchool on 09.06.06 . This programme was preside over by the school correspondent Mr. Syed Nazeer, exactly 60 children were participated in the programme. This programme was conducted by Mr. K.Pandiyan. this programme was publiched in the daily thanthi news paper on 22.06.06 and dinamani news paper also publish this news on 11th June 2006 and Dina boomi news paper on 10th June 2006. Evaluation programme was conducted by the shri C. Arokiya Raj.
- STARTING A NEW CORPORATE OFFICE AT UTHIRAMERUR.
AHM Starts a new corporate office on 02.07.2006 at kanmarajarBahvan, Chinna narasan pettai main road, Near (P.U.ModelMiddle school) , Uthiramerur. This inauguration function was broadcasted in local polymer channel over by Mr. Kumarasamy M.A. opened by Mr. A. Munisamy MA, B. sc , Med (Rtd Headmaster, Tamilnadu Govt. Fellowship award winner) this same day spoken English and the Tailoring and embroidery Courses were started.
- NON FORMAL TECHNICAL EDUCATION TO THE RURAL PEOPLE
The spoken English and the embroidery classes were commenced on 15th July 2006. Right now 15 students were join in the tailoring and spoken English class. This news was Published on 7th July 2006 in the Dina boomi news papers. Actually this non formal education is suitable to the school dropout and school final students.
- DOCUMENTATION CENTRE FOR RURAL RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT
We are collecting the scientific data and conducting research studies in education ratio, population ratio. Socio Economic Analysis. Physically challenged ratio , in rural and urban in the Uthiramerur and Maduranthngam block we are also collaborating with STATE RESOUCE CENTRE (SRC) Adyar Chennai they Provide us the basic statistic information.
The outcome and the objects of the documentation centre
- Planning the various kinds of the needs of the human society.
- It is useful to conducts various research based result oriented projects.
- WORKING WITH SCHOOL STUDENTS
CARRIES GUIDECE AND PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT CAMP.
AHM was conducted this one day camp in its corporate office at uthiramerur. 50 students were participated in this seminar the retired headmaster Mr. A. Muniyasamy preside over the function the participants are the from the various schools. Namely Govt. High. School Kammalampoondi govt. Girls Hr. Sec. School Uthiramerur.
Students knew how to tackle the problems in the study and also in the society. The resource persons explains how the study how to improve the personality
of the students.
- WORKING WITH MOTHERS AND CHILDRENS
WORLD BREAST FEEDLING MOTHERS DAY CELEBRATION.
This celebration was celebrated in the kammalampoondi village at Govt.Primary school. 30 Mothers were participated in celebrating along with kids. AHM invites the chief guest from the bank of Govt. hospital manampathy. Four NGOs were participated in the celebration.
One day seminar was conducted by the Govt. Doctors. The Healthiest child was selected and the prize was distributed by the village president Mr. arumugam this news was published in the dina boomi on 27th august 2006.
