Staff announcement
Elise Peterson joined the Corpson June 20 as Development and Communications Manager. She moved to the Twin Cities from Phoenix where she served on the ASU Foundation’s development team, which raised $4 million in annual charitable support for Arizona State University. Elise is a gifted communicator who understands that relationship building is the basic tenet of fundraising, and her expertise extends to graphic design, event planning, public speaking, media relations and data management. Before ASU, Elise served in fundraising and marketing positions at Sojourner Center, Seattle University, InsightsNow and Camp Lutherwood Oregon. She holds a bachelor’s degree in religious studies from the University of Oregon and diploma in digital design from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. Bailey and I are excited to have Elise on our team and we look forward to introducing her to the Board.
Also, please join me in thanking Bailey for her outstanding work picking up a plate full of responsibilities, such as Corps Update, website management, donor acknowledgements and record-keeping, and other communications work after Connie left. We are fortunate to have a committed and talented development team!
