1- The warning screen

Every time you run the software for the first time, a warning screen will appear
It displays the date and time of your system

This screen prevents you from replacing your records with wrong date and time
This is because the software replaces the date and time in all new records automatically
If date and time are correct, click OK
2-Setup
2.1- Default warranty setup

The first time you install the software, you have to setup it
First let setup the default option of the warranty
Click options > setup > warranty

The screen below will appear
First you will setup the default warranty time

It will replace the default time in all warranty paper that you print
However you can modify this time before printing the warranty paper
You can also setup the numbers of copies of the warranty paper.
Many technicians only prints a copy and give it to the customer, other prefer printing two copiesand keep a signed copy attheir repair shop.

You can also set up three lines of footer.
The footer will be the same footer that will appear on the warranty paper
You can write whatever you need, and also change it before printing the warranty paper.

2.2- Default general header
Now set up the general header
Click option > set up > general header


The screen below will appear
The general header will be the default replacement of the header of all your papers

You can fill the name of your shop, the devices that you repair, your address, etc.
2.3 - Entrance receipt setup
Setup the entrance receipt default
This is the receipt that you give to your customer when they brings their device to repair

Choose if you prefer one copy or two copies
Many technicians give only one copy to their customers, other prefer keep a signed copy
in the repair shop.
Replace also the footer line which will appear on the footer of the entrance receipt.
2-Backup
One-touch automatic backup of your data
Make a backup at least on time a day

3-Restore data
One-touch automatic data restore in case of data loss
Just click restore data if you lost data

4-Menu of makes
You don't have to type a make every time you register a device of a client
Just add the make the "menu of makes"

The menu of makes will be shown every time you register a new device and go to
the field "make" or also if you click "menu of makes" on options to add or delete a make

5-Menu of devices
You have also a device menu that will appear when you click over the field
device. You can add or delete a device from the menu.


6-Add and search customer

It allows adding and searching customers by alphabetical order
First search the customer to make sure it's not in your records
If the customer is found, double click it to edit its record or entering a new device
If the customer is not found, click add new customer

When your click add new customer the screen below will be shown

Fill the fields: name, address, state, zip (optional), phone, identity (optional)
The date with be replaced automatically with the date of your system so you don't have to
worry about it.
The other field is use the other additional optional information that you need to collect from yourcustomer.
6.1 – Adding a new device
When the customer data is fulfilled, click "add new device"

A new device will be recorded for this customer
The screen below will appear

If the device is on the device menu, double click it and it willautomatically be placedon the device field.
If it's not on the menu, click add new device

Click OK to add the new device to the menu and then double click it on the menu list
and it will be automatically placed on the device field of the record

The device projection TV was placed on the field device
6.2- Make
Then you will press enter and go to the field make
The menu of makes will appear
Double click a make or click add new if the make is not on the menu
The make will be placed on the field make as on the picture below (Sony)

Fill manually the fields: model, serial no, failure, accessories, comments
The warranty time will be automatically replaced with the default time
of your setup. If you want a different warranty time for this device, you can
edit and modify it.

The serial number is optional
The footer is replaced with the automatic footer of setup, you can also change it
now if you will regardless of changing the setup default footer.

Repair price: If you don't know the repair price, let it blank
Failure: Fill the failure as the customer describes it
On the picture above it's written: only a horiozontal line on the screen - no picture
Accessories: Fill the accessories that are brought along with the device
E.g.: Remote control
Comments: It's a important field because the customer may not remember whether
he brought something else or not.
E.g.: Missing A/V cable, scratch on the cover.
This way the client can not complain later that the scratch was caused by you
Choose the footer according to the laws of your state
Some states will not allow that you sell the TV or the monitor of your customer
You can also have a signed copy of the entrance receipt
Consult a lawyer if you have doubts about this issue
Press the print button to print the receipt to your customer
6.3 - Editing a device situation
Suppose that the customer has left a monitor at your repair shop and he calls you later to knowthe estimate for repair.
You have many searching options but you can search by the customer name or by the devicecode. The device code is printed on the receipt of your customer
Ask him the device code and enter it

The screen below will allow the search by device code
Just enter the code and press enter


It will take directly to the record of the device

Let the customer know the estimate for repair if you already know it
If the customer say: “You can repair it, I accept the estimate”
Mark the estimate as approved

As you mark the estimate as approved, the option "the repair is going on" will be automatically marked
However if the customer says "I don't want my device repaired" mark the estimate as disapproved


If the customer has approved the repair it will go to a "repair going-on" queue
When the repair is ready you must go to the repair record and mark it as ready

When the customer calls you and ask about his device, you will consult and it will
be in repaired devices list.
The customer then will pick up his device
At the moment that he comes to pickup his device, open the record and click the button
warranty paper

The warranty screen will be generated automatically from the record of the device
Important: When you press the warranty paper, the device is automatically marked as
"the device is out" because it's supposed that the customer will take it way.
In case the customer has not approved and you will not print the warranty paper, mark the devicemanually as out when the customer takes it away.

7-The warranty
All fields will be automatically replaced but the field comments will appear blank

You can fill it if you want
E.g.: This warranty is not valid for image tube
The footer is the default of your initial setup but you can modify before printing if
necessary. This will not change the initial default, it will be applied only for this record.
