Dear Parents and Students,

Welcome to Accelerated Common Core Algebra I class at Nobel Charter Middle School. I am excited and looking forward to a successful and productive school year with your student. My goal is to give students a foundation for exploring and understanding Geometry, Algebra II, and Trigonometryconcepts, which they will learn the following years. Our students' success is highly dependent on a good communication between the school and home. If education is important to you, it will be important to your child. Don't wait for me to contact you if you have questions or concerns. Please call the school office at (818)773-4700 and leave a message.

ABSENCES are not an excuse for missing assignments. It is your responsibility to get your missing assignment from your buddy or the teacher. You will have the number of days that you were absent to make up the work (Example: You were absent for 1 day, you have 1 day to make up the work that you missed).

HOMEWORK will be given daily, including on Fridays. Students should use their spiral notebook to complete their assignments. Students are expected to copy down the page and a problem number, and show all steps of work neatly in pencil.

***NOTE: LATE WORK WILL BE ACCEPTED FOR A PARTIAL CREDIT (-10% for every late day). A FULL CREDIT WILL BE POSSIBLE IF THE ABSENCE IS EXCUSED!
