Re: ACC SFBA 2017Sponsorship Opportunities

Dear Prospective 2017 Sponsor:

On behalf of the San Francisco Bay Area Chapter (“Chapter”) of the Association of Corporate Counsel (“ACC”), we would like toinvite your firm or company to sponsor our Chapter in 2017. The Chapter is excited about the ongoing success of our Sponsorship Program and we are confident that you will find our sponsor offerings a great value and return on investment.

The ACC is the premier organization representing in-house counsel in the Bay Area (and the world!). The San Francisco Bay Area Chapter of the ACC provides its members with timely and relevant educational programs, networking opportunities, and dynamic professional activities, all designed to meet the particular needs of in-house counsel in the Bay Area. The support of our sponsors is needed and appreciated to enable the Chapter to provide relevant legal education programs and other networking and social activities. Investment by our sponsors and the dedicated volunteers of our Chapter leadership grows our total membership—your prospective clients—and increases memberengagement during the coming year. Our Chapter is proud to have as members over 2,800 Bay Area in-house counsel serving their corporate clients in all substantive practice areas.

The 2017 Sponsorship Program offers both CLE-based and networking/social-based sponsorship opportunities described in the tables below. Each of these opportunities is designed to provide our sponsorsa chance to showcase their expertise, create brand awareness, and provide access to a captive audience of Chapter members. Sponsorship allows us to maximize the value delivered to both sponsors and members.

Preference provided to current Committee Sponsor. Committee Sponsors are given preference for two consecutive years. Thereafter, selection is awarded on a priority basis.

Please note that sponsorships are limited and awarded on a priority basis. Current sponsors will be offered first priority for 2017. Once again, we anticipate that there will be an oversubscription for sponsorships for 2017 and thus it is imperative that you carefully follow the schedule and deadlines set forth below in order to confirm your sponsorship. Remember, we are offering a limited number of sponsorships for 2017! The earlier we receive your Sponsorship Selection Form and payment, the more likely it is that your firm or company will be selected for the specific sponsorship type you’ve selected as your preference.

If your firm or company is interested in sponsoring our Chapter, you must complete the Sponsorship Selection Form (including the required contact names, email addresses and phone numbers) promptly and return it to Jim Carroll (via email) with the related payment (sent electronically per instructions on the Selection Form). Upon receipt of payment, your participation in the Sponsorship Program will be confirmed. All Sponsorship Selection forms and paymentsmust be received by us no later than Friday, September 16, 2016. Determination of which sponsorship your firm or company will be selected for, including which substantive Committee or which month Chapter sponsors are assigned, will be communicated once the Sponsorship Program is full. The Chapter will communicate your assignment by Friday, October 28, 2016.

Our Chapter leadership is excited about our 2017 Sponsorship Program and we look forward to having your firm or company join us in support of our Bay Area in-house counsel community.[*] If you have any questions or wish to discuss any of the sponsorship opportunities, please contact a member of the Sponsorship Committee or our Chapter Executive Director, DeeDee Ford, at (408) 421-7800, or via email at .
