The ARC is open from Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm during the academic year.

(During final’s week only, we are open from 8:30am to 7pm)

If your exam is scheduled to start outside of SAS operating hours, please contact your Professor to establish a time within our hours of operation to take the exam.

How To Plan Your “Distraction Reduced Exam” at the SAS

  1. Complete your Distraction Reduced Exam request form with your exam information.
  1. Meet with your professor to approve exam details. Your professor will need to sign your exam form before we can process your request.
  1. Submit your signed Distraction Reduced Exam request to our office, either through email or in person.
  1. Once you have submitted your exam request form, an SAS representative will email your professor (you will be CC-ed on the email) confirming that we have received your request and that a room is reserved.

Other Helpful Tips!

  • If you have submitted a DRT form and have not heard from the SAS one week before your test date, please contact our office.
  • Requests that are submitted after the 7-day deadline are not guaranteed a room. If no rooms are available, it is the responsibility of the student to make arrangements with the professor.
  • It is the student’s responsibility to complete and submit a “Distraction Reduced Exam Form”. Your professor is not responsible for returning your form or emailing the office to make your exam arrangements
