ABUSE RISK MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

Due to rapid growth, Praesidium is seeking an Abuse Risk Management Specialist to work with schools, churches, camps, social service organizations, nursing homes, hospitals, water parks, universities, youth development programs, sports teams, health clubs, and other organizations nationwide to reduce the risk that a child or vulnerable adult will be sexually or physically abused by an employee, volunteer or by another program participant.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting organizational risk assessments.
  • Conduct interviews with executives, employees, volunteers, and program participants.
  • Analyze policies and procedures.
  • Participate in team meetings to analyze findings and prepare recommendations.
  • Write and edit reports.
  • Create innovative solutions to risk management challenges.
  • Develop and conduct workshops and seminars.
  • Participate in the development of e-learning courses

Qualifications

  • Master’s or doctoral degree in psychology, social work, law, education, or related discipline.
  • Minimum four years’ experience in social service or related program management.
  • Proven analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills.
  • Superior writing skills.
  • Experience conducting workshops and seminars.
  • Strong communication, public speaking, and training skills.
  • Well-organized and detail-oriented.
  • Team player, fast learner, flexible, at ease multi-tasking.
  • Must be based in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area and willing to travel nationwide 50%.
