I know the posting below says the preference is one or two years of experience, but the truth is that they need hundreds (roughly 4 or 5 hundred) of these teachers. If you or your colleagues have any interested students, you are more than welcome to give them my name and email and I can advise these students from here.
In terms of figuring out the salary, the dirham is pegged to the US dollar and $1 = 3.65 (roughly) dirhams. So 12,000dhs/month is roughly $3,300 per month.

Subject: Licensed Classroom Teacher Recruitment in Abu Dhabi
Firstly let me apologise if you receive this communication in duplicate, but as the consultant responsible for coordinating classroom teacher recruitment in CfBT operated schools in Abu Dhabi, I am keen to reach as many colleagues as possible.
As a CfBT team member you will already be aware of the work that CfBT is doing with ADEC in Abu Dhabi. Early Years specialist teachers support this work by developing students? English, Maths and Science skills through child-centred integrated teaching in kindergartens and lower primary/elementary classrooms.
This year, for the first time, ADEC has asked CfBT to assist with the recruitment of a significant number of classroom teachers for the 2010 - 2011 academic year.
Employed directly by ADEC, in order to qualify for these roles teachers will:
Have a minimum of 1-2 years classroom teaching experience, preferably including teaching ESL/EFL students:
Be a fluent English speaker
Be a qualified teacher
Be culturally sensitive
Have teaching experience
In return ADEC will offer:
Tax Free salary AED 12,300 ? 21,750 per month depending on experience and government scales
Contract Completion bonus
Housing
Medical Insurance
1 Year renewable contract
Annual return flights for self, spouse and up to 3 dependants
