ABS Directory of Family and Domestic Violence Data Sources
Request for inclusion of new FDV data source
Introduction
The National Centre for Crime and Justice Statistics (NCCJS) within the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) is responsible for the Directory of Family and Domestic Violence Statistics (cat. no. 4533.0). This inventory complements the Conceptual Framework for Family and Domestic Violence Australia, 2009 (cat. no. 4529.0) and aims to provide a single multi-disciplinary reference point about data sources across the health and welfare, family and community services and crime and justice sectors.
The Directory includes metadata describing survey and administrative by-product collections,from which data are publicly available, held by Australian and State/Territory Government Departments/ Agencies.
