INSTRUCTION AND INFORMATION
1. / The project must be completed over a period of TWO weeks by the learner. You must assess the project at all times to ensure good of quality and ready for submission.
2. / This is a group activity for between 4–6 learners. The names of ALL the group members, title of the project and the due date should be recorded on the cover page of the project.
3. / The title for the project is 'PLANNING THE GRADUATION CEREMONY FOR YOUNG CHILDREN IN MY ECD CENTRE'. Learners have to stick to the content of the project and use pictures to support their evidence. Learners are expected to collect the information from the internet, magazines, flyers, books, libraries, et cetera, to follow the steps given to complete the project.

STEP 1: INVITATION CARD FOR GRADUATION CEREMONY

Invitation Card for graduation Ceremony.

The invitation card must include the date.
It must show the venue where graduation will take place.
The invitation must have the time when the graduation will start.
The card must be designed in a colourfully manner and must be attractive.
The texture of the invitation card must meet the required standard.
The invitation card must in an A4 paper.
The font of the invitation card must meet the requirement of the reader.
The information in the invitation card must relevant.
The invitation card must be visible. / All the details based on the invitation card are included. The candidate is more specific and it includes date, venue and time.
Different types of bright colours are used to decorate the card that makes it to be beautiful and attractive.
Material used for the invitation card is strong enough to give shape of the card.

STEP 2: PURPOSE OF A GRADUATION CEREMONY
2.1 / ·  To appreciate the presence of children during the entire learning.
·  To give the children an opportunity to demonstrate the skills they achieved during the entire learning.
·  It plays an important role for advertisement of the ECD centre.
·  It plays an important role to the children to say goodbye to their age group.
·  It helps the children to celebrate during the closing of their preschool years.
·  It gives children in the beginning of new experiences to come. / (6)
