ABC e-Training is practical and results-oriented, offering direct improvement in working performance. The ABC methodology was originally piloted through a 2-year research project involving 19 leading companies across 34 countries.
Professionals in over 120 countries have taken our advanced-level training: ABC Professional Writing Skills. Building on this success, ABC released a series of new courses in English Language Training for Non-native Professionals. This is the result of 5 years of research and development.

This training is for:

ü  Professional People who need English for their work and for who English is a foreign or second language. You may be in the private or public sector, an international organisation, or an NGO (and anywhere in the world).
ü  Minimum English. Training is through English, so you must know some English before you start (we cannot help total beginners)
ü  Motivated Learners. You must study hard to learn quickly and effectively. You must maintain your learning commitment until the end of the course. We do not promise results without effort!

ABC Basic Competence in Professional English is for people who know a little English, but find it difficult to write correctly. ABC training is in English, so you must know some English before you start. We check your level when you apply.

Easy-to-follow lesson structure
At the beginning of each ABC Learning Unit, you have a Menu Page (see left). This gives you a list of your lessons, tasks and exercises. It is also gives an estimated time for each lesson.

Clear Instructions
ABC e-training is easy to follow. We use clear and simple instructions, with many examples (see right). With ABC, you always know what you need to do.

Practical and Informative

We use topics that are interesting, and relevant to your work in a modern international organization. We focus on email correspondence, but also letters and even SMS messages.
We teach you the language you need to complete your duties efficiently and effectively: grammar, vocabulary, and punctuation.
ABC Professional Writing can be an ideal Review and Expansion course for people who learned English long ago, and are out of practice. It is also ideal as Accuracy training for people who learned English by themselves, and need greater accuracy for communication at work.

Realistic Tasks and Exercises

ABC tasks and exercises are varied and realistic. They provide you with useful practice for your work.

YOU
decide the timing

Flexible Timing

Your course has 8 Units, and each Unit is 3 to 5 study hours. The actual time differs from one person to another.
The Units have individual lessons from 30 to 90 minutes. So, you study 30m one day, 60m another day, and so on. You choose when to learn. ABC fits your schedule.
We recommend you study an average of 3 hours per week (anytime/anywhere). Then, you complete each Unit in about 10 days, and the whole course in about 12 weeks.
You can go more quickly, or more slowly. You decide when to start, and you progress at your own speed. There are no fixed times, no appointments, no online meetings. If you are sick or too busy, your ABC121 Trainer will wait for you. This is ABC121 “one-to-one Training.

You build up your own
ABC Training File
your record and a future resource

How You Study

Your ABC Trainer sends your Lessons and Worksheets as email attachments. Your ABC Lessons are professionally presented, with pictures and graphics (like the e-brochure you are reading now).
When you return your lessons, your ABC121 Trainer will write corrections and comments on your writing to help you progress faster. This is “one-to-one” individualised feedback from your expert ABC121 Trainer.
As you continue, you build up your own ABC Training File. This is a record of your training experience, and a valuable resource for your future reference.

ABC Continuous Assessment (and Certificate)
Throughout your course, your expert ABC121 Trainer evaluates your performance and progress. Your Trainer gives you a grade for your performance in each lesson.
Your performance in the lessons gives your score for each Unit (see right), and your final grade in the prestigious ABC e-Certificate for Basic Competence in Professional English. Your grade is mentioned on your e-Certificate as follows:
PASS (50-70%); MERIT (70-85%); DISTINCTION (85-100%)
