ABA ABA Day in Washington 2017

ABA Justice Award

In 1999, the American Bar Association Board of Governors approved the request of the now ABA Standing Committee on Governmental Affairs to formalize the tradition that began during “ABA Day in Washington 1998” of honoring selected Members of Congress for significant efforts in support of ABA legislative priorities.

During the “ABA Day in Washington” program in May 1998, the ABA presented plaques honoring six members for their stalwart support for funding for the Legal Services Corporation.
