Capital Training College

Service Provider – Financial Framework and Risk Management Training

Panel overview

Background

  • Finance hasestablished a panel of training service providers who can support Finance in the delivery of education services in a number of key areas of the financial framework, including the Budget, financial management and risk management.
  • A key part of this approach is that providers deliver Finance-approved training material, which will reduce training development costs and give Australian Government entities confidence that the information is consistent with the current legislation, policy and better practice processes.
  • Financial Management and Budget (FMB) training program provides an introduction to the Australian Government’s financial framework. The FMB program provides information about whole-of-government financial framework requirements. Together, the three FMB modules cover how the relevant legislation, policies and processes work together to support decision-making and ensure the proper use of public resources.
  • Comcover's insurance and risk management training program is tailored specifically for Comcover Fund Members. The courses integrate insurance and risk management information, address public sector issues and offer varying levels of specialisation. Panel training providers have the expertise to tailor content by adding examples relevant to entity-specific processes.
