Nurse
We have a staff nurse exclusively for the KG Department, Mrs.Mariamma P Thomas. Parents are requested to submit relevant documents to the nurse if their child is suffering from any ailment or allergic to any food.
The Strategic Tree of the KG curriculum shows the various methods which we follow for different activities. Some of them are teacher directed group activities in order to give them first hand sensorial experience and some are individual activities performed by children.
The different skills we develop in children are:
- Language Skills
- Numeracy Skills
- Creative Skillls
- Social and Emotional Skills and
- Physical and Motor Skills.
Language Skills
The importance of language dawns on a child when he needs to communicate his needs and emotions. We teachers have several activities planned and executed in class which will ensure language development. To throw light on the same I now invite Mrs. DebarpitaBanerjee.
Thank you, Debarpita Ma’am., that was very enlightening!
Numeracy Skills
As important as Language Skills, are the numeracy skills. The ability to understand and work with numbers is made easy at school through tested methods of teaching. I now invite Mrs.Avni Gandhi to take us to the world of numbers.
Thank you, AvniMa’am, that was very interesting!
Creative, Physical, Social and Emotional Skills:
As Milton said, “Childhood shows the man as the morning shows the day”. Is your child growing up creating something, doing physical activities and developing his/her social-emotional needs. I now invite Mrs.PallaviGokhale to brief you on these skills.
Thank you, PallaviMa’am, I am sure our children are going to have a wonderful time with all these activities.
I now invite the Special Educator of the KG and Primary department Mrs.Rashmi Joshi to brief you.
Thank you Rashmi Ma’am.
Last but not the least, it’s not how much you do, but how much love you put into it that counts, and that is what each of us at the Kindergarten ensures. Your children are dear to us and we nurture them with love and care.
