You see, we’re returning the first luxury hotel in San Antonio to its rightful place, taking the hotel back to the glamour, glory and unmatched hospitality that made it famous—and we want you to be a part of it all.
From the time it opened as San Antonio’s first true luxury hotel in 1909, The St. Anthony has set trends, hosted celebrities and thrown celebrations that have left an indelible mark on the city. Always the place to see and be seen, The St. Anthony is the subject of legend and lore, with famed stories that make a stay here all the more intriguing. But we’re not content to let history rest—we’re ready to add a new chapter to the story, working every day to achieve perfection every time, for every guest.
The legend of this National Historic Landmark has guided its restoration as we’ve worked to painstakingly polish the gem that has hosted generations of San Antonio’s social elite alongside Hollywood stars, famed politicians and international royalty. We’re updating and restoring, refining our look by celebrating our past and preparing for a grand future. The renovation reflects the rich history of The St. Anthony, as well as the unique treasure of San Antonio itself, welcoming you to enjoy our great city while visiting a true landmark hotel.
The story of The St. Anthony turned a new page this summer when the hotel rebranded as “The St. Anthony, A Luxury Collection Hotel, San Antonio”. With this new chapter, the hotel long known as “the Queen of San Antonio” again assumes her crown. Featuring redesigned guestrooms, suites and public spaces, as well as Rebelle, a new restaurant concept from restauranteur Andrew Goodman with acclaimed Chef Stefan Bowers, and Haunt, a new cocktail bar offering classic cocktails inspired by the haunting legends of The St. Anthony. The renovation also includes the rebirth of historic The St. Anthony Club, and a new rooftop lounge on the hotel’s tenth floor.
