A RESOLUTION adjourning the Senate in loving memory and honor of Chase Coleman Snodgrass.

It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness that we learn of the premature passing of Chase Coleman Snodgrass, and we pause in silent reverence for his soul.

WHEREAS, Chase Coleman Snodgrass was the loving son of Stan and Jennifer Snodgrass, and the loving and caring brother of Chandler Snodgrass, all of Bowling Green, and he also leaves behind his loving paternal grandparents, Dois and Paige Snodgrass of Beaver Dam; and

WHEREAS, Chase Coleman Snodgrass attended Bowling Green Christian Academy, and at the time of his premature passing on March 23, 2002, he was a sophomore at Greenwood High School; he attended Living Hope Baptist Church, he had strong religious beliefs, and he touched the hearts of others with the spirit that dwelled within him; and

WHEREAS, in the aftermath of this tragic accident on March 22, 2002, we are reminded of the grief and suffering inflicted upon the family and friends of Chase Coleman Snodgrass, how precious he was to his loved ones, and how his loved ones have been denied the opportunity of witnessing him reach his full potential; and we are also reminded that a life spent worthily should be measured by deeds, not years, and through his compassion and genuine love and concern for his fellow man, Chase Coleman Snodgrass is worthy of the highest commendation; and

WHEREAS, the premature passing of Chase Coleman Snodgrass has left a void that cannot be filled, and he is mourned across the length and breadth of the Commonwealth;

NOW, THEREFORE,
