□ Two days after I booked the party, I called the hostess to see if she got the guest list out to me. If not, ask if she can email right now or take down the information over the phone. If she only has phone numbers, get the information and call each of the guests to personally invite them on her behalf and then the next day text everyone.

Sample dialogue on the phone: “Hi, is _____ there? Hi ______my name is Lisa Rada with Mary Kay and I am a friend of (HOSTESS). If you are doing text invites, text exact invite to the hostess so she knows what was sent to her guests. Sample invitation on www.lisarada.com pswd: redhot. Training Center/Skin Care Class/Guest Invitation Postcard.

□ When women RSVP to me I asked the following questions to Pre-Profile:

2. Is there anything you would like to change about your skin? I let them know we will cover that.

3. Are you allergic to fragrance? I will give them fragrance free or peach hand cream sample.

□ I emailed or called the hostess to let her know who is coming, who can’t, who I booked for their own appointment and who I can’t get ahold of. Ask the hostess to try those you didn’t hear from.

□ In same phone call or email above, ask the hostess what colors she would like to try. Have her go to your personal website to look around. Suggest the virtual makeover to her. Ask her what she is looking to get with her free Hostess Credit.

AFTER THE PARTY

□ The same or following day I sent a thank you to the hostess for having her party. Sample dialogue, “Hi Megan- Thank you so much for hosting your Mary Kay party. I hope you and your friends enjoyed their time. If you have questions about any products, please let me know. I look forward to having you as a customer for years to come. Love – Lisa J”

If she booked a party remind her of date and time and you look forward to receiving her guest list.

OR I email each guest the Watch and WIN email with Jordan Helou Eicher, Leah Lauchlan and Lisa Madson’s videos on it.

□ Within 2 weeks after the party I called every guest to check in with them to make sure they are happy with their purchases. Remind them of the 100% guarantee. If they didn’t book a follow up party, I suggest we get together for a follow up so they can try more products and do a full glamour makeover. Invite them to your weekly meeting.

Remind them they will be receiving a Look Book from you on a quarterly basis and in it there is a FREE gift with purchase featured. The books come out in August, November, February and May.

□ I followed up with everyone that I offered to listen to the marketing. If they didn’t listen yet, I ask them when they think they would be able to so I can call them to get their feedback. Hostess Coaching Checklist – October 13, 2014
