CUSTODY ISSUES

Please assist us in the handling of custody related issues. It is the responsibility of the parents to provide the principal a certified copy of the court order affecting any other person's right to their children. Should you have any questions please call Ms. Sedlacek at 832-375-7610.

DRESS CODE

As the weather warms, students want to wear summer clothes. Please remember the school clothing guidelines outlined in the student handbook (Page 31 & 32). Below are the critical points to remember:

1. No tank tops or midriff-exposed shirts.

2. No pants that are frayed, torn or unhemmed.

3. Shorts must be mid thigh length.

4. Shoes should be enclosed for safety’s sake. Sandals are discouraged. Socks are encouraged.

5. Any hair color or style that is distracting or disturbing will not be permitted at school.

SCHOOL TARDIES

Arriving at school prior to the start of school is important for your child to have a productive day of learning. Your assistance is needed to have your child at school by 8:00 a.m. every morning. The tardy bell rings at 8:15 a.m., this is the time all students are to be in their classrooms ready for learning. Morning arrival time for students is from 7:40 a.m. until 8:00 a.m.

Students who are tardy to school an excessive number of times will have their conduct grade lowered by one letter. This will impact awards given each reporting period.

PLEASE BE SURE TO CHECK LOST & FOUND FOR LOST SWEATERS AND JACKETS. ANY UNCLAIMED ITEMS WILL BE DONATED TO NORTHWEST MINISTRIES.
