A complete application contains the following:
1. Application form (pages 3-8 of the form)
2. Letter of motivation
3. 3 references
4. £50 application fee (if you are accepted it will be calculated towards your volunteer contribution!)
We need your application to be completed in English and typed. Unfortunately, we cannot return applications which we are unable to consider (with the exception of your pictures).
Pictures
We require 2 pictures. Please write your name on the back and stick one picture in the corresponding area indicated on the first page of the ORIGINAL application. Please put the remaining pictures in a separate envelope.
Letter of Motivation
Please explain your motivation for doing voluntary service in the form of a letter, using a separate sheet of paper, typed or neatly handwritten. You must write the letter of motivation yourself and in English.
In your letter please answer the following questions according to the programme / country you are applying for:
1. What motivated you to apply to TF2012?2. Outline your Christian experience and / or background
3. What personal goals do you hope to achieve through this time volunteering?
4. What are your expectations of life as a volunteer? What do you think will be the main differences in lifestyle /culture compared to your home country/town?
5. What does ‘servant leadership’ mean to you?
6. Anything else you would like to mention at this point
References
The references should NOT be written by a family member or a close friend of yours. Ask three different people who know you well to write a reference for you. These could be pastors or ministers/priests, youth group leaders, employers, teachers, etc. The references should preferably be in English; however, if the original copies are in a different language, please provide an English translation.

As Time for 2012 is a new initiative we are in the exciting process of recruiting new placements. Therefore, the list below is a rough guide to help us know your preferred working environment but it is not necessarily representative of the actual placements we will work with.
