Willie Joubert has been in the gospel music industry for just about fifteen years touring and ministering throughout South-Africa, United Kingdom and Europe. After he finished his pastoral training he has been ministering full time through Word and music.

At a young age of fifteen he met the Lord and immediately decided to devote his life to the work of the Lord.

Willlie has been awarded numerous ATKV and CBSA awards for musical excellence.

He has just released his eleventh solo album and has been involved in various other projects with other South African and international artists. He writes most of his own songs and is well known for writing beautiful inspirational gospel songs.

On his previous album he wrote and recorded a song "There is a river" , which was used on an international album "Worship Around the World," realeased in thirty two countries worldwide. This song was also on top of the charts on local radio stations.

He ministers in both Afrikaans his mother language and English. The heartbeat of his ministry evolves around worship and intimacy with the Lord and is strongly envangelical.

Willie took some time delivering his latest album, but it was worth the wait. Compared to previous offerings, he took a quantum leap forward, musically as well as liracally this is his best work ever. The lyrics are strongly focussed on faith as a day to day reality, and offers a challenge as well as a powerful encouragement to the listener. Songs like "He Grew the Tree" revisit the crucial importance of calvary, while " Please Forgive me Lord" shows how to deal with the stumblings that might occur in even the strongest believers life. This album also features " Go Rest High on that Mountain", a powerful tribute to the late former SA cricket captain, Hansie Cronje.

Willie is happily married to Natasha, who also forms part of his ministry. Together, they have a powerful impact on churches and congregations they visit.

Willie strongly believes that he is not called for the entertainment of people, but is confident in knowing that the Lord wants to use his songs and his message to touch the lives of people all around the world.
