Two major items:

a. Working on Google Analytics reports to be distributed to all staff, highlighting interesting stats. The Web Analytics Group will create a digital dashboard and prepare sample reports for WAC, we can provide feedback.

b. Analytics of the research drop down menu – minimize or reduce fly-outs Some duplication exists, WAC has to discuss what to do with the fly-outs. For example, Eresourcesà Theses also appears under UofT Researchà Theses; E-resources à Popular Databases also appears on the home page; Tools & Utilities à Subjects A-Z also on the home page. How do we clean up fly-outs?

6. Research drop-down menu (discussion continued from item 5):

a. ACTION: Marc please add a link called FIND BOOKS, DVDs, and more…under the main menu tab RESEARCH that links to the catalogue page

b. First fly-out “Find Data, Audio/Scores Online, Images...”:

· The first two links are both from the Data Map Library ACTION: Monique will ask Berenica if these should be combined into one link

· Do we need Microform link here? ACTION: Monique will ask Marc where this page should go? Is it necessary for it to be here?

· Audio/scores online collection: broken link ACTION: James find out which page from the Music Library site this should link

c. Second fly-out E-resources (long discussion on this topic), we tried to eliminate this link by moving all the items in the fly-out elsewhere, as follows:

· Article databases and Indexes: ACTION: Marc please move under FIND ARTICLES

· E-journals: ACTION: Marc please move under FIND ARTICLES

· Encyclopedias, dictionaries, directories, handbooks... ACTION: Marc please move under FIND BOOKS, DVDs, and more…

· Text Collections: discussion if we need this link. ACTION: Monique will search the minutes of the past few months to find out the discussion on this link

· E-Newspapers: ACTION: Marc please create a new link under the main menu E-resources called Find Newspapers and link to this page http://guides.library.utoronto.ca/newspapers?source=research (includes both print and online newspapers)

· Popular Databases: ACTION: Marc please move under FIND ARTICLES

· UofT Theses: ACTION: Marc please move under main menu Research

d. Third fly-out Tools & Utilities:

· Can we remove subject A-Z from here, is it a tool? (Should we ask students what we should call some of these resources?

· my.media is redundant, should it be listed here? ACTION: Pam will take it to ??? Committee for discussion

e. ACTION: Marc please change Special collection to Find special collection

7. How to visit other university libraries page (Judith): Deferred from November meeting. Discussion took place. ACTION: Judith will make changes

8. http://onesearch.library.utoronto.ca/apps How can we highlight the page:

Quick Links? Find an app link? Other?

9. Proposed PlanUTL image and link on homepage near the Donate button at the bottom right from Feb., Mar., April? (Monique, on behalf of Laura Anderson)- Approved ACTION: Monique will let Laura know that it is ok after she discusses this with Lari.

10. In-person reference on Contact page – Debbie Green asked for this, Marc added link to libraries page. http://onesearch.library.utoronto.ca/contact-us/ The next step would be to link to individual libraries’ reference pages. ACTION: Ask your library if they will be willing to link to their own reference page

11. New course reserves page created http://onesearch.library.utoronto.ca/faculty-course-reserves

12. 360Link page ACTION: look at this page and provide feedback
