A RESOLUTION confirming the appointment of R. Scott Borders as an administrative law judge in the Department of Workers' Claims.
WHEREAS, in accordance with KRS 342.230 and by Executive Order 2001-1490, the Governor has appointed R. Scott Borders as an administrative law judge in the Department of Workers' Claims, to serve the remainder of the unexpired term of Richard H. Campbell, Jr., ending December 31, 2003; and
WHEREAS, appointments as administrative law judges are subject to confirmation by the Senate, as required by KRS 11.160; and
WHEREAS, the Senate finds that R. Scott Borders meets the requirements of KRS 342.230;
NOW, THEREFORE,
Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Kentucky:

Section 1. The Senate hereby consents to the appointment of R. Scott Borders as an administrative law judge in the Department of Workers' Claims for a term expiring December 31, 2003.
Section 2. The Clerk of the Senate shall forward a copy of this Resolution, with a written notification of its adoption, to R. Scott Borders, 1565 Trophy Court, Florence, Kentucky 41042, to Governor Paul E. Patton, Room 100, State Capitol, Frankfort, Kentucky 40601, and the Office of the Commissioner of the Department of Workers' Claims, Perimeter Park West, Building C, 1270 Louisville Road, Frankfort, Kentucky 40601.
