1. 150 hours of supervised practicum in child speech and language disorders within the UB Clinic and an educational setting approved by the New York State Education Department. PRINT Typhon reports sorted by each educational setting – for our Clinic, also sort by supervisor worked with for child cases.
2. State semester completed and final grade in CDS 624 SCH: Communication Internship (6 credits): ______
Exam and Workshop Requirements: Documentation must be attached.
1. Passing scores on the NYSTCE (ALST and EAS)
2. Completion of a two-hour course in Child Abuse Identification (if from undergraduate, attach transcript; if from graduate program, attach certificate.)
3. Completion of a two-hour course in Safe Schools Against Violence in Education
4. Completion of a two-hour course/workshop in Autism
5. Completion of a six-hour course, DASA, through the GSE
