Prayer of Confession (In Unison)

Let us Pray… We confess to you, O God, and before one another that we have sinned. The events of our lives take center stage in our minds, so easily, that we forget that it is being children of the living God that defines us. We think we are okay when things go well, and that we are destroyed when things go badly. Forgive us our short-sightedness and bring to our minds once more, the great truth, that it is your love and care that gives us meaning… (Silent, personal confession)… Amen.
