RV Park Regulations

Rules:

· Dogs must be constrained by responsible party on leash not longer than 10’, in accordance with

County Ordinance 5-6-4:

· Fireworks/Firearms are prohibited as stated in County Ordinance: 5-5-1:, 5-3-2:

· Camping is allowed in designated areas only.

· Quiet time is from 10:00 pm until 7:00am.

· Sites cannot be “Saved” for someone else, unless arrangements are made with the camp host.

· All equipment and vehicles must be within the designated camp site or general parking areas.

· Check in time 2:00 pm. Check out time is 1:00 pm., unless other arrangements are made with the Camp Host.

· Stays are limited to 15 days in a 30 day period, unless other arrangements are made with the Parks and Waterways Director or the County Commissioners. Stays at Dean’s Cove are limited to 3 days.

· All RVs must be self contained. Absolutely no dumping of wastewater on the ground or waterway is permitted. County Ordinance 5-7-2 B #6 states “Holding tanks or sanitary devices may not be emptied within a park nor into any adjacent waterway.”

· No tent camping is allowed except in designated areas or with special permission from Parks and Waterways Director.

· Fees must be paid within 30 minutes of occupancy.

· Please have correct change. The Camphost does NOT carry change.

Reservations:

· Sites are first come first serve, unless prior arrangements are made at least 3 days in advance with Parks and Waterways Office or Director.

· Reservations are available, but only in designated spots and on a limited basis. Designated spots will be marked in each individual park. Reservations must be made with Parks and Waterways Office at least 3 days in advance.

· No Individual/Family may make more than 3 reservations annually, unless permission is granted from Parks and Waterways Director.

· No Reservations or special requests will be taken on weekends or holidays. Reservations may only be made with the Parks and Waterways Office during regular business hours.

The Parks and Waterways Department or the County Commissioners reserves the right to change any of these regulations at anytime.
