Ladies and Gentlemen
Please ensure that your construction managers install proper silt run off protection, required by St. Louis County, while in the construction phase of your pools.
During this last rain our pond maintenance coordinator noticed heavy silt running into our retention pond from the creeks and storm sewers. Excessive silt runoff can be detrimental in providing the proper depth of our pond to support aquatic life (fish) through the winters.
Also, after the construction phase all homeowners are requested to maintain this protection until your landscaping and ground cover have been reestablished.
