2.  How much time do you spend worrying about your inbox?

3. How do you feel on a difficult email day?

4.  What’s it like for you on the days that are more manageable?

5.  If you could wave a magic wand and email was an easy and manageable part of life, what would that look like? How would it feel?

The 4 Healthy Inbox Principles

·  Reduce the backlog

·  Reduce the number of new mail coming in daily

·  Action efficiently your emails

·  Make email a healthy part of your life (make email your servant, not your master)

Put these 4 Healthy Inbox Principles into order, with the one you need to work on most as #1.

Slash your daily email time.

Create WEEKS each year to spend on things you want

What past clients are saying

Wow. What a huge difference with my inbox. I have no unread messages in my inbox. I’ve gone through 10,000 unread messages!!

Even during the extremely busy time at Christmas, I kept my inbox to no unread emails. Wow!

In the past, when I came across the emails, I didn’t know what to do with them. Some emails were really ‘sticky’ – because I didn’t know what to do with them, they’d just stay there. [But Erin asked me questions and I got to the heart of it, and now I know what to do with sticky emails]. – Kara

Dear Erin,

I just wanted to let you know that your help with my inbox was awesome!!!!

I typically complete my inbox warm-up in 25 minutes each day. Then, I do my workout which only lasts another 30 minutes to one hour. This clears my inbox completely. This is a radical shift from working in the constant and overwhelming shadow of my inbox all day, every day. What a relief!

The way you transformed my relationship to my multiple e-mail accounts feels significant especially because you said I already had very strong organization, prioritization and e-mail management skills. Even so, you've been able to help me in a dramatic way – you've saved me time, you've saved me energy, you've saved me attention and focus. Best of all I don't hate my inbox anymore. You are a rockstar.

With gratitude, Steve Mattus
