We are practicing Habit number 1-Be Proactive
In Pre-K. It is the Habit of Choice. / Spring break is March 14th-18th.
There will be no school those days.
I will be sending home 5 books for each student to read, a copy of the alphabet in upper and lower case letters and some math homework. We really appreciate all you do to help your child…our Pre-K parents are true LEADERS!
This past week: We read about The Elves and the Shoemaker, The Little Red Hen and many, many Dr. Seuss books. We are using STEM kits to build houses and bridges to go with the Fairy Tales. Our students are continuing to work on their Leadership Notebooks.
Attention:
If you are interested in Dual-Language for your child, you must register online by March 25th. If you need help please call the LAC and they will assist you (817) 251-5231. / Next week: We will finish our study on Fairy Tales and Nursery Rhymes. It is a favorite unit for Pre-K! We will learn about the letter Zz and continue learning Pre-K sight words. Please help your child learn sight words at home. We continue to study different math concepts daily.
Mark your calendar for Leadership Night, Thursday, March 10th. We will be emphasizing Habit #6, Synergize for Leadership Night in Pre-K! Please come and work together with your child on some fun and engaging games!
