Thurrock Trailblazer CPD Programme

What is the ROH Trailblazer CPD Programme?

There are three programmes, each covering a different art form:

· Sing (unlimited number of teachers per school)

· Design and Make (one teacher per school)

· Write and Perform (one teacher per school)

The CPD has two main purposes for Thurrock Trailblazer teachers:

1. For personal development and creative enjoyment

2. To develop a ‘tool kit’ of skills and activities to take back into school to share with colleagues and students

Who should undertake the CPD?

The Cultural Champion may wish to undertake one of the CPD programmes, and to encourage colleagues to undertake the others.

If more than one teacher per school wishes to take part in ‘Design and Make’ or ‘Write and Perform’ then you can apply for a space on the waiting list and we will allocate more spaces if they become available.

We suggest that you discuss this with your colleagues and select a teacher for each programme who is well-placed to share the learning with students, teachers and the wider school community, and who would like to develop their skills and confidence in that particular art form, rather than a colleague who is already particularly skilled or experienced in that area.
