The Veterans Memorial Park of Old Hickory Committee is entering a new phase of fundraising to help complete the goals of memorializing our Veterans. The final phases of the project will honor those who served during the Korean, Vietnam, and Iraq conflicts, in the form of adding plaques, benches, and provide for a full gazebo restoration.

To accomplish this task, an additional monument will be created and located at the park to recognize those who have generously donated, and will continue to donate to the project. Fundraising levels will be established to acknowledge those who have donated in the past and those who will continue to donate in the future. The levels are as follows:

Level Amount

Purple Heart Donor: $250

Bronze Star Donor: $500

Silver Star Donor: $750

Congressional Medal of Honor Donor: $1,000 and above

While we are deeply grateful for any amount donated to the project, the committee felt in order to raise a significant amount of funds, and for donors to take advantage of our new non-profit status, a fundraising monument should be created. Any amount donated in the past will be recognized or credited to future donations. For example, if you have donated $200 in the past, simply add $50 of additional monies and your name, or the name of someone you wish to honor, will be engraved at the Purple Heart level.

If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact any committee member.
