AN ACT

To amend the Statutory Bodies (Accounts and Audit) Act

ENACTED by the Parliament of Mauritius, as follows –

1. Short title

This Act may be cited as the Statutory Bodies (Accounts and Audit) (Amendment) Act 2004.

2. Interpretation

In this Act –

“principal Act” means the Statutory Bodies (Accounts and Audit) Act.

3. Schedule to principal Act amended

The Schedule to the principal Act is amended –

(a) in Part I, by deleting the following statutory body –

Public Officers’ Welfare Council

(b) in Part II, by inserting in the appropriate alphabetical order the following statutory body –

Public Officers’ Welfare Council

4. Commencement

This Act shall be deemed to have come into operation on 12 October 1992.
