FROM THE EDITOR
It’s December already, where did this year go? We do NOT have a December meeting, so our next meeting is the first Tuesday in January 2005. We will install the new officers elected last meeting.
2005 Mustangs are on the streets! I saw 6 at a Ford Dealer in Tulsa when Chad and I went up there 2 weeks before Thanksgiving. I have seen them at Ford dealers all over East Texas. My wife Jan has looked at them and really likes them, but I haven’t talked her into trading yet. She really liked a red one with red leather at Tyler Ford a couple of weeks ago. We have got to get her into the driver seat SOON!
Chad called me on his cell from the car wash one Friday night, someone was cruising a white 05 GT on Broadway. I rushed out and hung out a while, it passed by several times. These new Mustangs look really cool on the streets. We have been baited with magazine pictures for months, but they look even cooler on the street!
Roush, Steeda, Saleen and many others have already modified some 05’s and there are awesome pictures on the internet. Check out www.mustangworld.com, they have a whole new showcase dedicated to the 05 Stangs.
Kenny Barham told me he got his little Fox body coupe dyno-tuned at Murillo Motorsports, its turning 582 HP and 718 torque at the rear wheels @ 15 psi boost. It was seen out on Broadway this past weekend, too! I guess that makes up for that ricer Honda Accord he drove to the last meeting!
Some of the guys in the Club cruised out to Lade Ford in Frankston a couple of weekends ago and drooled all over the Ford GT in the showroom there. Got some nice pictures too! Craig Chesley looked really good sitting in that thing, I think he should trade in the Vette!
I want to personally wish each of you Happy Holidays!

’05 FORD GT AT LADE FORD
I was sent pictures from both Craig Chesley and Robert Owens, but no story. From the pictures I can see Craig, Robert, Danny Alexander, Mark Whitt, Eddy Franks, Les Jeffcoat and Gary Goodman. We’ll let the pictures speak. Oh yeah, and if you were thinking about getting a pair of them, the sticker price speaks too!
2005 DUES ARE DUE IN JANUARY
Our dues for 2005 are due this January. Would you believe we got some renewals as late as July this year? Beat the last minute rush, go ahead and mail in your check or bring it to the meeting in January! It’s only $20, and it’s for your whole family. Fill out the form at the end of this newsletter and be sure to put in any changes so we have the latest information on you and your Mustangs.
ETCC RAFFLE CAR
Tyler Ford has once again come through with an awesome Mustang for the East Texas Crisis Center to raffle off! This year, the raffle car is a Bright Yellow limited edition Feature Car 1993 Mustang LX Convertible. It comes complete with a 5.0 liter V8, 5 speed transmission, chrome Pony wheels and a black convertible top and leather interior, with all power accessories and air conditioning. If the winner cannot drive a 5 speed, Tyler Ford will convert it to automatic at no charge.
Raffle tickets are $5.00 each and because the car is donated, the whole amount goes to the East Texas Crisis Center. Get your tickets now so you can help make this the best year ever for the Crisis Center. The drawing for the Mustang will be on Sunday, February 20, 2005 in the closing ceremonies at the East Texas Auto and Cycle Show around 4:00 PM.
The East Texas Crisis Center is a non-profit organization, providing safety, education and shelter for victims of family violence, sexual assault and other violent crimes in East Texas. They operate a 24 hour emergency hotline and an emergency shelter. They provide counseling and support groups, legal advocacy and public education. You can look them upon the web at http://www.etcc.org/.
MONTHLY CLUB MEETINGS
Our monthly club meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month at Traditions on South Broadway, Tyler, just down the street from Lowe’s and Best Buy on the other side of Broadway. The meetings are open to all club members, friends, family, and other interested parties. If you have not been attending meetings, you owe it to yourself to come and join us. This is the place to come for help with your Mustang or to suggest and help us plan club events. If the weather is good we like to cruise up Broadway and back down to the parking lot at Broadway and Rice Rd. If you are unable to make the meeting and have something of importance, please call one of the club officers listed on the back of this newsletter.
