The Outsiders- Annotation Menu
Use the following menu to guide your annotations. Make note of sign posts and literary devices that are used to show you about your chosen items. Important- choose 3 different colors for your post-its or carefully label them (as character, symbol, theme). Post-its should have brief notes on them. Annotations may be checked periodically. Be prepared. They will come in handy at the end of the unit when it comes time to write something.
