Corteama
Corteama is made up of upperclassmen and women volunteers who are in the second year of their Cortina experience or have completed the Cortina Program.
The Leadership Team, or “Corteama”
The Cortina Leadership Team is a group of students who are committed to cultivating meaningful relationships and programs within the Cortina community. Each student on the team is, first, a member of a team, and second, the responsible for a particular part of the program. The Leadership Team is advised by the Director, but at different times the Director may share that responsibility with the Graduate Assistant Director.
The Cortina Leadership Team is made up of Chair positions (Formation Time Chair, Class Co-Chairs, Recruitment Chair, Marketing Chair, Communications Chair, Service Chair and others, as deemed necessary), the 4 Resident Advisors and Assistant Resident Director. This group is responsible for overseeing the activities, processes, and people that are integral to making Cortina what it is.
Along with their respective duties, each of the chairpersons will be involved in a weekly planning meeting with the whole leadership team and a bi-weekly one-on-one with a Cortina staff representative. Also, each team member will be a part of the interview process for the next year’s class.
