Birdwatching is back
Comacchio, in the Po Delta Park of Emilia-Romagna,
from April 28th to May 1st 2006
the International Po Delta Birdwatching Fair opens the doors
COMACCHIO (FE). After the big success of the 2005 edition that in a 4 day kermesse saw the presence of over 30000 visitors for 11000 square metres of exhibit area, with 190 exhibitors from all over the world, this year from April 28th to May 1st 2006, in the breathtaking lagoon city of Comacchio (Ferrara), in the heart of the Po Delta Park Emilia-Romagna, the International Po Delta Birdwatching Fair is back again. All around the huge exhibit area set up along the Fattibello riverbank- where you will find the best in optics equipment, photography, birdwatching professional equipment- conferences and seminars of the highest scientific level will be held together with lectures, workshop, sport gatherings and excursions.
Particular attention will be paid to didactic, that through playing activities, will be proposed in the amusing laboratories for the youngest visitors, to whom an entire area will be reserved in order to discover the secrets of nature, accompanied by experienced educators. The event will also be the right occasion to launch the first European Birdwatching Race, a challenge taken in a flap of wings, in which the Italian team and the one from the other countries, will be defying each other in recognising the Po Delta wildfowl.
An important workshop for operators titled “Bird.T.T. – Birdwatching Travel Trade” will be organised as a tourist event, open to all the Italian and foreign operators willing to offer travels characterised by nature and to specialised Tour Operators among the most important in the world.
The International Po Delta Birdwatching Fair 2006 programme, organised by the Local Action Group DELTA 2000.,will be introduced in occasion of a specific press conference scheduled for February 10th in Milan.
