Kissimmee Animal Hospital is an AAHA accredited practice looking for a friendly and outgoing team player with a strong work ethic, and dedication to superior client and patient care. Currently, we have a full time Veterinary Technician position available. While we prefer to hire a Certified Veterinary Technician, we will consider an experienced technician or those with some practical experience.
The ideal individual must possess the following for the position listed:
*Dependable attendance
*Client communication and education skills
*Efficiency- organizes daily duties and procedures to best utilize time
*Flexibility- with the schedule and the daily routine including some weekend duty
*Diagnostics- venipuncture, cytology’s, urinalysis, etc…
*Pharmacy- familiarity with common medications including heartworm and flea preventions
*Nursing Care- animal restraint, oral and injectable medications
