The BibleWorks Greek Keyboard Map (BWGRKL)

Note: The vowels “a” and “A” shown with Greek accents are not printed by typing that key but are shown to illustrate accent positions for any Greek vowel ( a( e( h( i( o( u( w).

§  For accents or breathing marks on lower-case vowels (e.g., a), put the cursor to the right of the vowel, then type the key for the accent or breathing mark (e.g., rough breathing mark keys are ` or ~ and produce a` or ~A))

§  For capital letters, position the cursor to the LEFT of the vowel (e.g., the result is ~A)

Installation Instructions: HOW TO INSTALL BIBLEWORKS FONTS
For non-XP PCs, install fonts this way:
§  Click Start | Settings | Control Panel
§  DOUBLE click the “Fonts” icon.
§  A Fonts box will appear with instructions.
§  Click File | Install New Font.
§  In the Add Fonts box, navigate to the folder where the BibleWorks fonts are located.
§  Highlight all the fonts to select them.
§  Click OK to install the fonts in your fonts folder. / For newer XP PCs, install fonts this way:
§  Click Start | Settings | Control Panel
§  RIGHT click the “Fonts” icon (it looks like a manila folder).
§  A small grey box appears with instructions (Open, Explore, Paste, Create Shortcut, Sort by Name)—beside a list of font names.
§  DOUBLE click “Open.”
§  A large Fonts window appears with a detailed list of fonts at the bottom, and a menu bar at the top.
§  On the menu bar, click File | Install New Fonts
§  An “Add Fonts” box appears.
§  In the Add Fonts box, navigate to the folder (or disk) where the BibleWorks fonts are located. Highlight all the fonts to select them.
§  Click OK to install the fonts. Make sure “Copy fonts to fonts folder” is checked.

Any use of the BibleWorks fonts is permitted—as long as the font files are not sold or modified, and as long as BibleWorks LLC is openly acknowledged as the copyright holder.

The official copyright notice for the BibleWorks fonts is below:

“BWHEBB, BWHEBL [Hebrew]; BWGRKL, BWGRKN, and BWGRKI [Greek] Postscript® Type 1 and TrueType™ fonts Copyright © 1994-2001 BibleWorks, LLC. All rights reserved. These Biblical Greek and Hebrew fonts are used with permission and are from BibleWorks for Windows, the premier exegetical and research Bible software system.”

This copyright notice must be displayed in any distributed works using the fonts, along with a note asking others to comply with displaying and preserving the copyright, if they also distribute any derived publications.

BibleWorks Greek and Hebrew fonts may be downloaded from www.bibleworks.com. Macintosh versions of BibleWorks fonts are also available from BibleWorks.
