The company offers challenging and rewarding employment in the fast growing and dynamic electronics industry. We are seeking a motivated individual to fulfill the position of Test Technician. This position will be responsible forconducting avariety of electronic, mechanical and electromechanical tests on electronic assemblies. Experience withperforming functional testing and ability to use testequipment such as signal generator, frequency meter and spectrum analyzer helpful. Proficiency with soldering and experiencein the ERP industry is a plus!
Thesuccessful candidate will have basic computer knowledge, experience calibrating test instruments, reading digital displays that indicate electronic characteristics such as voltage, frequency, distortion and capacity measures as well as determining cause of unit failure and replacement of defective wiring or components. The abilityto communicate with others regarding test procedures and resolution of problems is importantfor this role.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
