Student Research Positions

INDEPENDENT STUDY: Opportunities for students interested in doing an independent study are available. Research in the lab focuses on studies of motor functions, knowledge, and memory in individuals with neurologic disorders, including degenerative dementia and schizophrenia. Independent study students are required to perform some administrative duties, run experiments, and organize data. In addition, students will read and present a research article in weekly lab meetings. Students will earn 3 credits for 9 hours of work in the laboratory. Independent study in the laboratory will count toward the Cognitive Neuroscience minor. (PSYCH394-5; PSYCH396-7)

WORK STUDY: Positions are available. Responsibilities include: assisting faculty and staff with the basic administration of our psychology laboratory; duties include copying, running errands, and running subjects in simple experiments. This position is for a minimum of 9 hours a week with extremely flexible scheduling.

VOLUNTEER: Students may volunteer in the lab. Responsibilities are similar to work study students. The position is for a minimum of 9 hours a week with extremely flexible scheduling.
