General Rules:
Viewers must be 18 years or older to enter and win this contest.
Viewers must reside in the NBC Lima viewing area (Designated Market Area as determined by the FCC) during the contest period in order to be eligible.
No purchase is necessary. Need not be present to win.
Winners will be notified by phone or the same method used to communicate the contest on August 21st.
Employees and their immediate families (i.e. spouses, children, parents, in-laws and siblings) of NBC Lima television and participating sponsors are not eligible to enter.
Winners are responsible for all tax obligations to the Internal Revenue Service, the State of Ohio or any other taxing authority which may arise as a result of winning a prize. An IRS form 1099 MISC may be given to winner reporting the value of the prize if required by applicable law.
Winners will be asked to sign a publicity release allowing NBC Lima to use the winner’s name, address (city and state only), image, photograph videotape, voice, likeness, etc., for promotional publicity or advertising purposes at any time.
Winners will be required to sign a liability release waiving all claims against NBC Lima and its subsidiaries, and participating sponsors, their respective advertising agencies, directors, officers, employees and agents relating to any injury or damage such winner may sustain as the result of use of the prize.
Co-Sponsors and NBC Lima management reserve the right to void any part of, cancel or modify this promotion at any time. Any dispute not covered by these rules will be resolved by the NBC Lima General Manager in a manner deemed by him to be fair to all parties concerned and consistent with applicable law. Any such resolutions shall be final.
All expenses associated with prizes which are not specified herein as part of the prize are the responsibility of the winner.

Prizes are not transferable and may not be exchanged or substituted. The Grand Prize winner must use their prizes prior to December 31, 2010 or they will be forfeited.
Odds: Odds of winning will depend on the number of entries and the creativity of those entries as judged by a panel of independent judges.

I understand that there are inherent risks of accident, property damage and personal injury in home renovation projects. I also understand that neither NBC Lima, nor any of its directors, officers, employees, agents, affiliated corporations and businesses, advertisers or sponsors will manage, supervise or control the events or their conduct in any manner, or accept any responsibility for loss, delay, damage, theft or, personal or other property, or for personal injury, disability or death which may occur as the result home renovation projects.
I hereby waive any and all claims against and release NBC Lima, its affiliated corporations, and businesses, its participating advertisers and sponsors, and each of their directors, officers, employees, and agents for any property damage or loss or for any accident, personal injury, illness, disability, death or other damage I might suffer resulting from or connected in any way or manner to travel to or from, or participation in, any of the events.
