Sun Zhenyu, Chairman of China Society for World Trade Organization Studies (CWTO), Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China (MOFCOM)

Sun Zhenyu graduated from Beijing Foreign Languages Institute in July 1969.From 1973, he served successively as staff member, Deputy Director and Director in the Third Department for Regional Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Trade, Vice President of China National Cereals, Oil and Foodstuff Import and Export Corporation (COFCO), Deputy Director General and Director General of Department of American and Oceanic Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Co-operation (MOFTEC), and Vice Minister of MOFTEC. From 2002 to 2010, he served as the Ambassador and Permanent Representative of China to the WTO.

Hilton L. Root, Professor,School of Policy, Government, and International Affairs, George Mason University

Hilton Root is the Professor of the School of Policy,Government, and International Affairs, George Mason University. He is also a co-director of the Computational Public Policy Lab and senior scholar of the Mercatus Center. Root offers his advising and consultancy services to the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Rand Corporation, the U.S. State Department, and the U.S. Treasury Department.etc. Root contributes to the Wall Street Journal Asia, the International Herald Tribune, Los Angeles Times, and the Washington Post frequently.

Robert Koepp, Director, Beijing Corporate Network, Economist Group

Robert Koepp is the Beijing Director of The Economist Corporate Network. An experienced trilingual (English, Chinese, Japanese) commentator, author, analyst, and manager, he has long worked with a wide variety organizations to gain a holistic yet practical appreciation of opportunities and challenges in China and other key Asian markets.

Sun Jie received a PhD from Guanghua School of Management, Peking University. He served as the director of Fund Department of China Securities Regulatory Commission in early 2003. He started working for the Securities and Futures Commission of Hong Kong in 2007 and for Asset Management Association of China as President in 2012. He retired in 2014.

Xia Youfu is the executive director and chief expert of China Strategy Research Center For Open Economy and International Technology Cooperation (SCOT), and Director of Research Center for China-EU Economic Cooperation (CCEEC) in UIBE. His main research fields are China’s open economy and sustainable development; China-EU economic Cooperation;WTO-TBT and China development. He is Standing Member and leader (China’s side) of expert team of China-EU Economic and Trade development, in China Economic and Social Council; Chairman of WTO Experts Consultancy Committee to Ministry of Commerce(China) on Issues of Trade and Environment of the Doha Round Multilateral Trade Negotiation; Standing member of Expert committee, China Economic Policy London)Research Centre; Adviser of China Green Food Development Center, Ministry of Agriculture, China, etc

Li Li, Associated Professor of Institute of International Economy, UIBE

Dr. Li Li is Associated Professor of Institute of International Economy, UIBE and Director of China Research Center for Technical Barriers to Trade (CCTBT), UIBE.

Her main research fields are Technical Measures to Trade, Social Responsibility and Sustainable Development, Trade and Environment. She is registered expert of ISO Social Responsibility Working Group for ISO26000, and expert of China’s special working group on ISO social responsibility issues. She has participated the drafting of ISO260000 and the translation of ISO26000 into Chinese, also participated the drafting of several CSR related standard or guideline in China.
