Susan L (Camotta) Blomquist CSUF 1981
My name is Sue Blomquist I was born in South Carolina while my father was serving in the Air force. I was 2nd of 3 children. I was the 1st to go to college in my family, and the 1st nurse in my family. I graduated from FSC/CSUF in December 1981. I obtained a BS Degree and my MSN in 2006. I am currently a Clinical Nurse Specialist for Community Medical Center.
My husband, Mark, is an instructor at Fresno City College in the Business Administration Department. We have been married since 1979. My children are Patrick 21, working in the Automotive Technology field and my daughter Katie 19, is a college student. She is working towards an engineering degree.
I have worked at the CMC for 29 years, first as an aide, then unit clerk, monitor technician nursing extern, and RN. I am currently certified as a CCRN and CCNS through AACN.
