Graduation Practices

It is a privilege for a senior student to participate in the GHS Graduation Ceremony. In order to maintain this privilege, students must behave appropriately.

A traditional and dignified graduation ceremony takes a great deal of practice. Every individual contributes to the success of our ceremony. Considerable time is spent ensuring that each student is aware of his or her role. For that reason, all graduation practices are MANDATORY.

All graduates must be present and on time with required attire for every practice. You must have a doctor’s excuse if absent.

o  Unexcused absence

o  Insubordination/Disrespect

o  Inappropriate behavior

  Consequences:

Graduation is traditionally held on the last day of school.
