Dear Pastor,
Greetings in the matchless and wonderful name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Brethren the purpose of my letter to you and your respective church family is really two-fold. First I would like to let you know that as a member of the New Salem Baptist District Association and Baptist General State Convention I have been selected to be a part of the 2013 National Baptist Congress Souvenir Journal Book committee. As many of you may be aware of, the National Baptist Congress will meet once again at the Americas Center in Downtown St. Louis, MO, June 17th – 21st, 2013.
The second purpose of my letter is to ask for your assistance and consideration in placing an ad either on behalf of yourself or on behalf of your church in this year’s National Baptist Congress Souvenir Journal Book. I have enclosed a letter from our 2013 Souvenir Journal Chairman, Dr. Carlton Caldwell, a Souvenir Journal Application Cover Sheet and the Souvenir Journal Application.
