Step-by-Step Guide to hosting a Rummage for RESOLVE!

1. Free yourself of clutter! Get rid of “STUFF”….. old clothing, books, dishes, glasses, knickknacks, lawn and garden tools, video games, anything you no longer want or need cluttering your life. Take Control!
2. Get ready to have fun with friends and family!
They need to declutter too!
3. Select a date that works for you.
4. Spread the word about your Rummage for RESOLVE
(Sample tools: signs, emails, and Rummage checklist, etc., can be downloaded from RESOLVE’s website, www.resolve.org/rummage):
a. Post on Facebook
b. Signs in neighborhood, library, schools, supermarkets
c. Ad in your local paper
d. Send emails (download samples from RESOLVE’s website)
5. Gather your items for sale. Include friends, neighbors and family…
...benefit RESOLVE and leap into Spring cleaning!
6. The night before:
a. Price your items for sale
b. Or if you prefer, just list “Item is donation amount of your choice”
c. You may want to post signs that all proceeds will be donated to RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association Nonprofit Charity – people’s willingness to spend will increase!
7. Celebrate your freedom from clutter and send proceeds via check to RESOLVE,
