Gold Coast campus

Short description

The Gold Coast campus—Griffith’s largest—offers degrees in many disciplines. Australia’s most exciting higher education precinct, the campus boasts world-class teaching, research and sporting facilities. Co-located with the Gold Coast University Hospital and the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games Athletes Village, it is easily accessed by dedicated light rail.

Long description

The Gold Coast campus—Griffith’s largest—hosts more than 18,000 students, conducts research and offers degrees in many disciplines. This is Australia’s most exciting higher education, health and knowledge precinct, and with a dedicated light rail service direct to the campus, it is easily accessible from the heart of the Gold Coast and is located just minutes from the famous beaches. The campus has seen significant growth and development over the last few years, with the opening of the $150 million Griffith Health Centre and co-located Gold Coast University Hospital, the launch of the $38 million Griffith Business School building and the opening of Griffith’s Menzies Health Institute Queensland. Further expansion includes the development of the award-winning Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games Village alongside the campus and the new Gold Coast Aquatic Centre, which will be located on campus as part of the new sports hub.

With world-class sporting facilities, including an Olympic-standard athletics track , a wide range of sporting teams and social clubs available, as well as modern, on-campus student accommodation, food outlets, cafes, shops and other essential services, this is a vibrant centre for study and recreation.


Nathan campus

Short description

The Nathan campuse is situated in unique, native bushland on the edge of Toohey Forest, just 15 minutes from the Brisbane CBD. Griffith’s foundation campus, Nathan offers degrees in business and government, engineering and information technology, environment, humanities and languages, law, and science and aviation. On-campus student accommodation is available.

Long description

The Nathan and campus is situated in tranquil, native bushland on the edge of Toohey Forest, just 15 minutes from the Brisbane CBD.

Nathan, our first campus, hosts over 13,000 students and offers degrees in business and government, engineering and information technology, environment, humanities and languages, law, and science and aviation. The campus is home to world-class expertise in the environment, corporate sustainability, Asian studies and the emerging biosciences. It is the site of Australia’s first teaching and research building driven by a combination of solar power and hydrogen energy.

The six-star, green-rated Sir Samuel Griffith Centre opened in 2013, providing students with innovative new learning spaces. The Centre also hosts the Red Zone, where students and visitors can relax and play with interactive technology and massive projection displays. The campus also has a new social space, the Campus Heart, and a range of sporting facilities and student clubs and societies, and on-campus student accommodation.


Mt Gravatt campus

Short description

Adjacent to Nathan, the Mt Gravatt campus is Griffith’s social sciences and humanities hub, offering degrees in criminology and criminal justice, education and psychology. A range of exceptional sporting facilities, including aquatic and tennis centres at Mt Gravatt, sporting teams and social clubs, as well as on-campus student accommodation.

Long description

Adjacent to Nathan campus with panoramic views of Brisbane, the Mt Gravatt campus is our social sciences and humanities hub. The campus hosts over 4,000 students and is the base for research into critical social issues, including education and suicide prevention. Mt Gravatt offers degrees in criminology and criminal justice, education and applied theatre and psychology. The recently upgraded Aquatic and Fitness Centre at the campus features a heated pool, indoor and outdoor recreation areas, and a fully equipped fitness centre—co-located with a 16-court tennis centre, a training oval, and basketball and netball courts—creating a world-class health and fitness hub for students. On-campus student accommodation is also available.


South Bank campus

Short description

Within Brisbane’s cultural heart, the prestigious South Bank campus encompasses the Queensland College of Art, one of Australia’s oldest and most advanced fine art and design colleges; the Griffith Film School—Australia’s largest; and the Queensland Conservatorium, one of Australia’s leading music schools.

Long description

Located in the heart of Brisbane’s arts and cultural precinct, the South Bank campus houses Griffith’s world-renowned Queensland College of Art, Griffith Film School and Queensland Conservatorium. As the most-established and well-recognised centre for excellence in the creative and performing arts in Queensland, the South Bank campus hosts over 3,500 students, and also offers outstanding programs in business, public health and health services management. The Queensland College of Art, one of Australia’s longest-running, but also most advanced fine art and design colleges, and the Griffith Film School, which is Australia’s largest film school, provide students with leading edge technologies, studios and purpose-built facilities, as well as teachers at the forefront of their fields.

The Queensland Conservatorium is the most comprehensive tertiary music school in Australia. Providing unrivalled opportunities to students, it is co-located with the state’s premier performance venue and organisation, the Queensland Performing Arts Centre. Offering a breadth of highly sought after specialist degrees in areas such as musical theatre, opera, classical instrumental studies and music technology, students are taught by internationally renowned performer-teachers who use the latest available technologies. The school also houses world-class performance facilities, including a 700-seat theatre with some of the best acoustics in the Southern Hemisphere.


Logan campus

Short description

Nestled between Brisbane and the Gold Coast, Logan campus offers degrees in human services and social work, nursing and midwifery, business and commerce, information technology and education. The campus has strong connections with the local community, hosting numerous sporting and cultural events throughout the year.

Long description

Home to almost 2,500 students, this campus is based in one of Australia’s most rapidly developing regions, midway between Brisbane and the Gold Coast, and is a leader in flexible learning options for students.

Logan offers degrees in human services and social work, nursing and midwifery, business and commerce, IT and education.

The campus has strong connections with the local community, hosting numerous sporting and cultural events throughout the year. At Logan, students have access to a bookshop, café, community lounge, sporting facilities and a range of support services. Student accommodation is located within walking distance of the campus.
