Shane Fest Softball Tournament
Tournament Rules and Regulations
1) All ASA rules apply (including ASA bat restrictions) except for the following.
2) Batter starts with a one-one count (no extra foul).
3) May start with 8 players, go up to 9 or 10, but never down unless due to injury.
4) May use 1 courtesy runners per inning. Courtesy runner must be last recorded out.
5) Teams may bat as many players in their line-up as they wish
6) Tie-breakers are as follows: (1.) Head to head competition, (2.) Fewest runs allowed,
(3.) Most runs scored, (4.) Coin Toss. 7) After breaking a 3 team tie in a bracket using the above tie-breaker, the 2 remaining teams
will revert back to the same tie-breaking rule.
8) ASA .52 COR, 300 lbs Compression Softballs will be supplied by each team.
9) Home run rule with be 3 Up. HR’s over the limit will be outs.
10) The home team must keep score and will be the official book.
11) Run Ahead Rule: 20 after three innings, 15 after four innings, and 10 after five innings.
12) Any team that wins a game by forfeit will be credited with the score of 7-0.
13) The tournament director may change the tournament format due to weather conditions.
14) No drinking on ANY field,
15) Clean up your trash.
16) Report scores at the end of the game to tournament official.
17) Report to your game at least 15 minutes early.
18) Only allowed to play for ONE team during the entire tournament.
