ST. CHARLES OCTOBER 25, 2015

LIMA, OHIO

STAFF CORNER (will return next week)

Today, October 25th is Priesthood Sunday. It is a day to reflect upon and affirm the role of the priesthood in the life of the church as a central one. We invite you to pray the following on this special day:

Almighty Father, we thank you for the vocation of Father Steve whom You have called into the priesthood of Your Son.

Jesus, may he always look to You as an example of humility, service and charity.

Holy Spirit, use him as an instrument to challenge many Catholics, especially the young, to love Christ and embrace the heart of the Church.

Mary, wrap your mantle around Father Steve and intercede for his strength and faithfulness to the Church.

Holy Trinity, bless him! Blessed Mother – intercede for him! St. John Vianney – pray for all priests!

The yellow Memorial Floral Fund envelopes are in the pews. Your loved ones will be remembered at the All Souls Mass on Nov. 2nd at 7:00 PM.

Welcome to our parish community! We are happy to have you! A special welcome to any guests who may be visiting. May your visit be blessed!

From parishioner Julie Vogt: My sister and brother in law, Lori & Joe Mangas, are teachers in a Christian school in Santa Rosa, Bolivia. They have been living there since 1997. They are in need of computers for their classrooms. They would like XP or Windows 7, but they will take any old computers, monitors, and printers, even if they are not working since they have the means to fix them down there. If anyone is not using an older computer and would like to donate it, please bring it to the church office by November 14 or contact me at 419-692-4194 for pick up. We are sending down a large shipping crate to get them there. Thank you so much for your help.
